Eligibility For Membership
CIRDA is a statutory entity comprised of counties and municipalities in the Indianapolis-Carmel-Anderson metropolitan statistical area (MSA). The following are eligible to join CIRDA:
Counties that are adjacent to a county that is a member of CIRDA; and
A municipality located in a county that is a member of CIRDA; and
A municipality that is adjacent to a county that contains a member of CIRDA
How to Join
To join CIRDA, the legislative body of the eligible entity must adopt an ordinance to join CIRDA and a resolution adopting CIRDA’s comprehensive economic development plan. For additional information, please contact Jennifer Messer at jmesser@centralindianarda.com.
