A Strategic Plan
In consultation and collaboration with regional stakeholders, including representatives of the private sector and not-for-profit communities, CIRDA created a READI Summary Strategic Plan for Central Indiana.
While recognizing that the region will naturally continue to serve as a hub of innovation, advanced technologies, and diverse communities, the region must further support a diverse range of industries that catalyze growth in innovative technologies, advanced manufacturing, biopharmaceutical and logistical industries.
On January 24, 2024, CIRDA hosted the IEDC for its READI 2.0 Site Visit. Using its “Main Street Matters” theme, CIRDA representatives and regional partners discussed the need to invest in Central-Indiana’s vibrant, dynamic communities by focusing on areas that link communities, including amenities like world-class parks and trail systems, collaborative research and working environments, and diverse housing options.
