To date, CIRDA represents over 90% of the incorporated Indianapolis-Carmel-Anderson metropolitan statistical area. With almost 30 members, CIRDA is a statutorily-formed, regional entity, comprised of municipal executives from our Central-Indiana communities. CIRDA aligns Central-Indiana communities to drive economic development and address key issues within the region.
Comprised of cities and town throughout Central-Indiana, the executive of each member community (Mayor, County Commission President or Town Council President) or his or her designee is eligible to participate in CIRDA. Led by CIRDA President, Mayor Scott Fadness, Fishers, CIRDA’s members and their respective staffs collaborate on regional issues ranging from maximizing use of the White River to administering IEDC’s READI fund program for the Central-Indiana region.
