Working Together For A Dynamic Central-Indiana

Comprised of cities and town throughout Central-Indiana, the executive of each member community (Mayor, County Commission President or Town Council President) or his or her designee is eligible to participate in CIRDA. Led by CIRDA President, Mayor Scott Fadness, Fishers, CIRDA’s members and their respective staffs collaborate on regional issues ranging from maximizing use of the White River to administering IEDC’s READI fund program for the Central-Indiana region.

Steve Barnett
Mayor of Franklin
Mayor Steve Barnett is a lifelong Franklin resident. He is active in community organizations including the Franklin Mayor’s Youth Leadership Council, Franklin Rotary, etc. For the City of Franklin, Barnett served as the President of the City Council for 5 years leading up to his 7 years as Mayor. He was an active member of the City Council for 8 ½ years and served as a Board of Works member for 12 years.
Tom Broderick

Life-long Anderson resident, Tom Broderick was elected to serve as mayor in 2015. His campaign focused on “Progress You Can See” in which he dedicates his focus on creating visible impact in his city, Anderson.
Ryan Cannon

Ryan Cannon serves as the current Town Manager of Avon. Prior to this position, he served as the Assistant Town Manager and Public Works Director for over 20 years.
James Coffman

James Coffman is a long-time resident and business owner in Beech Grove. His dedication to the city is apparent in his efforts to improve infrastructure and provide essential services for residents, while remaining fiscally conservative. Mayor Coffman served as Clerk Treasurer before assuming his current role on January 1, 2024.

City of Carmel Mayor Sue Finkam began her first term in January 2024 after a diverse career including serving 10 years on the Carmel City Council in various leadership roles and launching her own full-service marketing agency, Firestarter, LLC. As mayor, she is focused on reshaping the city’s relationship with its citizens, and fostering an environment where all residents and businesses can thrive.

During his time in office, Mayor Hogsett has championed initiatives on roads and local infrastructure, food access, and affordable housing. Andrew Klinger, the Town Manager of Plainfield, has dedicated over 20 years of his life to public service. He is in charge of the day-to-day operations of the Town and moving forward the vision he has to improve the area.

Ben Lipps, the Town Manager of Cumberland, has served the town since 2008. He was previously Cumberland’s Director of Public Works and is incredibly proud of the town’s identity. He works to preserve Cumberland’s historic character while still developing streets and trails.

Mark Myers is a long-time resident of Greenwood and is now serving as the Mayor of the city in his fourth term. During his time as Mayor, Greenwood has maintained a balanced budget each year and has the lowest tax rates in the state for a city of its size.

John Stehr
Mayor of Zionsville
John Stehr was the lead news anchor at WTHR for nearly 25 years. He joined the Zionsville Board of Parks and Recreation upon his retirement in 2019. He took office as Mayor of Zionsville in January 2024 and a well-respected community member, committed to leading the town towards a path of sustainable growth.

Planner for Town of Danville
Lesa Ternet is a Planner for the Town of Danville. She is a Danville native and has over 30 years in planning, specifically in Danville and Hendricks County.

Guy Titus, the Mayor of Greenfield, moved to the town at a young age. He has since dedicated his work career to the betterment of Greenfield. His focus is on building a strong and welcoming community.
Deborah Whitfield

Previously working in the healthcare industry as a respiratory therapist, Deborah Whitfield now serves as the Mayor of Lawrence. She has big plans to revamp Lawrence’s reputation by revitalizing the city itself through economic development, transportation, and public health.

Scott Willis became Mayor of Westfield in January 2024. He is committed to being fiscally responsible and community-focused while working to diversify the city’s tax base while improving quality of life.
